Highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) with operating room expertise are sought for a valued contract opportunity supporting surgical services in Bradenton, FL. This role involves comprehensive preparation, sterile handling, and direct intraoperative assistance to surgeons in a fast-paced surgical environment. Candidates must be NBSTSA certified and possess strong communication abilities to ensure seamless teamwork and patient safety during procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set up surgical instruments and equipment for both scheduled and emergency cases
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols
- Assist the surgical team during procedures, anticipating surgeon needs and ensuring efficient workflow
- Manage sterilization and case cart preparation to support operating room scheduling
- Collaborate closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA
- Minimum of two years of experience in an operating room environment
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Schedule Options:
- Option 1: 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM 5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)
- Option 2: 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM 7:00 PM (36 hrs/week)
- Both options require on-call availability and submission of weekly timesheets
