Job Description

This opportunity seeks an experienced surgical technologist with a focus in neurology to contribute specialized skills within a dynamic operating room environment. This role requires at least two years of recent hands-on experience, particularly with neurological procedures and utilizing the Epic system and Da Vinci surgical technology. Candidates must also hold an active NBSTSA or NCCT certification.

Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2+ years of recent surgical technology experience, with strong neuro specialty skills
  • Proficiency in Epic electronic medical records and Da Vinci surgical systems
  • Experience in orthopedic surgery, including total joint support and orthopedic trauma cases
  • Familiarity with peripheral vascular and cardiovascular procedures preferred
  • Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification at the time of submission
  • Ability to float within the OR as needed
  • Must not be a new graduate; prior field experience essential

Schedule and Duties:

  • Contract position with varied 10-hour day/evening shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM
  • Coverage may include weekends and holidays as required
  • Limited return-to-office days, no more than seven days of onsite needed
  • Participate actively in neuro-specific surgeries, including neuro call responsibilities
  • Support orthopedic cases ranging from trauma to total joint replacements
  • Assist in maintaining OR efficiency and patient safety standards
