Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment, specific shifts provided upon interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical teams in the operating room, maintaining optimal patient safety and sterile environment
- Support surgeons and circulating nurses during procedures, ensuring necessary instruments and supplies are available
- Prepare operating room and verify tools and equipment before surgeries
- Provide pre- and post-operative patient care as required
- Participate in continued quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate documentation
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid and current Registered Nurse license
- Specialized experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- BLS/CPR certification required; additional OR certifications preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced, ever-changing surgical environments
