Highly skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR CST) opportunity available in a fast-paced hospital environment. This contract role requires a minimum of 3 years of recent full-time experience working in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures within a high-volume setting. Candidates must demonstrate full proficiency and the ability to function independently with minimal onboarding.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years recent full-time CVOR CST experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
- Proven capability to operate independently in a high-volume surgical environment
- Verifiable references from at least two previous travel assignments confirming no extensive training was required
- Strong familiarity with all aspects of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
- Availability and willingness to participate in call coverage after hours and on weekends
Schedule/Hours:
- Weekday shifts, 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., three shifts weekly (based on departmental needs at interview)
- Weekend shifts Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
