Schedule/Hours:

  • Travel contract position

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR/ORT experience
  • Current CST certification
  • Valid BLS certification
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures
  • Strong adaptability and effective communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up operating rooms for cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries
  • Assist surgeons during high-acuity procedures, ensuring sterile technique and equipment functionality
  • Monitor, count, and account for surgical supplies and tools during procedures
  • Collaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia teams, and surgical leadership
  • Maintain meticulous documentation and compliance with hospital protocols
