Key Qualifications:
- Current experience in perioperative/scrub nursing or surgical technology
- Proficient in the setup and operation of surgical equipment and instrumentation
- Ability to act as a knowledgeable scrub assistant during operative/invasive procedures
- Skilled at providing safe, effective patient care in a surgical setting
- Strong teamwork, communication, and mentoring abilities
- Willingness to adapt to established protocols and quickly integrate with new teams
- Compliance with all facility and regulatory requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver proficient perioperative care, assisting as a scrub tech under RN supervision
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments, ensuring availability during procedures
- Collaborate closely with the surgical and nursing team, acting as a role model and resource
- Maintain adherence to all procedural, safety, and facility guidelines
