An opportunity is available for highly skilled cardiovascular operating room technicians with a strong background in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures. This contract role is ideally suited for professionals with at least three years of recent full-time experience in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting, demonstrating advanced proficiency and the ability to work independently without extensive onboarding.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years recent full-time experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR CST) in a high-volume hospital
  • Proven expertise across cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
  • Strong references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed
  • Ability to function independently and efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment
  • Willingness to participate in call coverage for the service line during after-hours and weekends

Responsibilities:

Schedule:

  • Weekday shifts from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. (3 shifts per week based on department needs)
  • Weekend shifts Friday through Sunday, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
