Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nursing - ORT (Operating Room Technician/Scrub Nurse).
- Active state licensure (Illinois or compact if applicable).
- Recent experience in an operating room or surgical setting.
- Strong attention to sterile technique and patient safety protocols.
- Adaptability and effective team communication skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and assist with surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready.
- Support perioperative nursing staff, surgeons, and anesthesiologists before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
- Document relevant patient and procedure data accurately.
