Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Nursing - ORT (Operating Room Technician/Scrub Nurse).
• Active state licensure (Illinois or compact if applicable).
• Recent experience in an operating room or surgical setting.
• Strong attention to sterile technique and patient safety protocols.
• Adaptability and effective team communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and assist with surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterile and ready.
• Support perioperative nursing staff, surgeons, and anesthesiologists before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain and organize surgical instruments and supplies.
• Document relevant patient and procedure data accurately.
