As a Nursing professional with ORT experience, youll be exposed to a diverse array of surgical procedures, expanding your clinical skill set and gaining insights from experienced surgeons and multidisciplinary teams. This assignment supports professional growth through interaction with new protocols and exposure to varying leadership styles, enhancing both your resume and your adaptability in fast-paced settings.
Schedule Details:
- 40 hours per week
- On-call: 1 day per week, plus one weekend every 5 weeks
- Weekend duty: Every fifth weekend
- Holiday coverage: As needed by department
Required Qualifications:
- Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in an operating room environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical teams during operative procedures
- Prepare and maintain a sterile field in compliance with best practices
- Coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia providers for efficient operations
- Uphold the highest standards of patient safety and infection control
- Demonstrate adaptability during on-call and holiday requirements
