Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment with flexible shift opportunities.
Desired Experience & Skills:
- Nursing certification and current licensure, with specialty training as an Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Recent experience circulating and/or scrubbing in a surgical/operating room setting
- Strong communication and critical-thinking skills
- Exceptional attention to patient safety and surgical protocols
- Adaptability in working with a multidisciplinary perioperative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intraoperative care, including instrument handling and assistance as directed by surgical staff
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after procedures
- Monitor patient condition and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and fellow nurses
- Safeguard patient safety and confidentiality at all times
- Uphold the highest standards of evidence-based practice and documentation
