Job Description
A surgical first assistant role is available in Ormond Beach, FL, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to a variety of surgical specialties including orthopedic, neurological, general surgery, robotic, urology, and gynecology procedures. This contract position requires a minimum of one year of surgical assisting experience, along with BLS and CERT-NBSTSA-CSFA certifications. The assignment lasts approximately 13 weeks with a 36-hour workweek and a rotating schedule that includes call duties.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience as a surgical first assistant
- Certifications required: BLS and CERT-NBSTSA-CSFA
- Skilled in assisting with orthopedic, neurological, general surgery, robotic, urology, and gynecological surgeries
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations
- Willingness to float to different nearby medical facilities as needed
