Support advanced neurosurgical procedures in a high-acuity setting as a skilled technologist specializing in neuro cases, including both spine and brain surgeries. This contract opportunity is perfect for those experienced with specialized equipment such as Stealth navigation and O-arm imaging systems.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and assist during complex neurosurgical operations including transsphenoidal pituitary surgery, Laser Interstitial Thermal Therapy (LITT), GammaTile brachytherapy implantation, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), and other intricate cranial procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and surgical equipment throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team and anticipate needs during high-precision operations.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide coverage as needed, including weekends and holidays when falling on scheduled shifts.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Surgical Technologist certification required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Proven experience in neurosurgery, particularly neurosurgical scrub tech roles.
• Preferred credentials or experience with LITT, GammaTile, and surgical navigation technologies are highly valued.
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

Schedule & On-Call:

• 40 hours per week.
• 8 on-call shifts per month.
• Weekend and holiday call coverage as required.
