Job Description

A healthcare opportunity is available in Oneida, WI, for experienced OR nursing professionals specializing in robotics-assisted surgery. This contract position supports surgical teams with circulating, positioning, intubation/extubation assistance, and robotic procedures using the DaVinci XI system. The role involves working in a Level II Trauma Center known for a broad range of surgical specialties including ENT, plastics, urology, bariatrics, GYN, minor vascular, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate surgical procedures by circulating, assisting with intubation/extubation, and patient positioning
  • Provide scrub support with sterile processing and robotics instrumentation
  • Assist anesthesia teams with room turnover, equipment safety checks, and supply management
  • Float between main operating rooms and satellite locations within the same hospital campus
  • Maintain a 1:1 tech-to-patient ratio and collaborate closely with the anesthesia team
  • Perform ancillary tasks such as cleaning, inventory management, and replenishing supplies

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required
  • Proficiency with DaVinci XI robotic surgical system is essential
  • Certifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with BLS; Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with BLS
  • Ability to support complex surgery types including robotics, ENT, neuro, orthopedics, and minor vascular surgeries
  • Previous experience in a similar role in multi-specialty OR settings preferred

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • No weekend shifts; some holidays may be required
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Floating between two OR locations in the same building with rare assignments to off-site surgery centers
  • Orientation includes two 8-hour shifts on unit
  • Free on-site parking available
