Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician to support a healthcare facility in Olympia, Washington. This contract position is ideal for candidates with demonstrated expertise in cardiovascular surgical support and a commitment to patient care excellence in the operating room setting.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a CVOR Technician
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
  • Active Washington state license
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical instruments and procedures
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operating room environment

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain cardiovascular operating rooms to ensure aseptic conditions are upheld
  • Assist surgeons during cardiovascular procedures by handling instruments and supplies
  • Monitor sterile field and patient safety during surgeries
  • Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure seamless procedural flow
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to surgical cases and equipment use
