Schedule/Hours:

• Days, 5/8s (five shifts per week, eight hours each)

Key Responsibilities:

• Function as a first, second, or assisting Surgical Technician, under RN supervision, throughout all phases of the intraoperative period.
• Strictly maintain a sterile environment, applying aseptic technique.
• Exhibit competency in specialized technical and psychomotor skills.
• Provide age-specific care to obstetrical patients, adhering to established departmental protocols.
• Assist in organizing and coordinating surgical supplies and equipment, supporting departmental efficiency.
• Ensure a safe patient and work environment; consistently follow hospital policies and safety requirements.
• Document and charge for equipment and supplies accurately.
• Participate in OR room turnover, setup, and equipment maintenance.
• Perform sterilization and disinfection processes accurately, maintaining records in accordance with protocols.

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Tech (Surgical Tech - Certified credential required)
• Experience or competency in intraoperative care
• Familiarity with aseptic techniques and perioperative protocols
• Effective communication and critical thinking skills
• ORT Nursing skills preferred

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
