Position Highlights:
- Schedule/Hours: 40 hours per week
- On Call: 1 day per week and one weekend every 5 weeks
- Weekend Coverage: Every fifth weekend
- Holiday Obligations: As determined by department needs
Qualifications:
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential required
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Demonstrated experience or training in operating room technology (ORT)
- Adaptability to rotating on-call and weekend shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical teams in preparing and maintaining sterile environments for all procedures
- Ensure necessary instruments and supplies are available and ready for use
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and support staff to optimize patient care during surgeries
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation per facility protocols
- Adhere to all safety and infection control guidelines
