Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation: One week, full-time
- 3 days: 06301900
- 4 days: 06301700
- 3 days: 10302300
- Weekend rotations, on-call shifts (with a 40-minute response time), and holiday coverage based on department needs
- Schedule created in 6-week increments
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience in Operating Room nursing or as an Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Not accepting first-time travelers
- RN: Active state license and BLS certification; circulating experience, Foley catheter, chest tube, and AED management required
- Tech: BLS and CST certifications; proficiency in a variety of surgical cases
- Experience preferred with Da Vinci D5 robotics (not required)
Responsibilities:
- Circulate or scrub in diverse cases: vascular, neuro, thoracic, robotics, transplant, general, ortho, podiatry, gyn, and more
- Use technology including Cerner EMR, Plum IV Pumps, Omnicell, Bovie, tourniquet, harmonic, and OR beds
- Collaborate closely with support from department management, with a dedicated RN and Tech for each case
- Provide cross-coverage for lunch breaks throughout the OR as needed
