Role Overview: Seeking a skilled professional with a strong background in nursing and surgical technology. This position involves providing top-notch perioperative care, ensuring patient safety, and assisting in various surgical procedures.

Schedule:

• Travel assignment with variable shifts, tailored to current facility needs

Qualifications:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• Experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) or equivalent nursing background preferred
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation
• Current BLS certification
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields
• Assist surgeons and nurses before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Verify equipment, instruments, and supplies are correctly set up and function properly
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout operative experience
• Adhere to hospital and departmental protocols for infection control and patient care
• Support and mentor other staff as needed
