Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician (CVOR Tech)
  • Current, active BLS certification
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique and cardiac surgery procedures
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and RNs during complex cardiovascular surgeries
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and sterile fields
  • Monitor and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
  • Uphold infection control protocols and hospital policies
