A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced surgical technologist skilled in neuro and orthopedic procedures. This contract position is based in Minneapolis, MN, and provides the chance to work in a dynamic operating room environment with a focus on neurological surgeries, orthopedics including trauma cases, total joint support, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular procedures.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience, specifically in neuro surgery
  • Expertise with EPIC, da Vinci surgical systems, and general OR skillsets
  • Ability to support orthopedic trauma procedures and total joint cases
  • Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification at the time of application
  • Neuro call coverage experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain the operating room environment for neuro and ortho surgeries
  • Assist the surgical team with instrumentation and procedural support for complex cases
  • Float as needed within the OR to maintain optimal workflow
  • Be available for weekend shifts and holiday coverage as required

Schedule:

  • 10-hour day/evening shifts with varying start times between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM
  • Limited opportunity for return to office days (no more than 7 days total)
