Provide essential support in the Operating Room by preparing and maintaining a sterile environment to ensure the success of surgical procedures. This role requires a thorough understanding of surgical protocols, attention to detail with surgical instruments and supplies, and the ability to anticipate the surgeons needs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of surgical procedures and problem-solve related issues during operations.
• Verify physician preference cards and ensure all necessary supplies are accounted for accurate patient billing.
• Assemble, operate, clean, and sterilize surgical equipment and disposables, ensuring all are in proper working order.
• Maintain and monitor the sterile field, promptly identifying and addressing any breaks in technique.
• Set up sterile fields with required instruments on schedule, keeping an accurate count of medications, sharps, instruments, and sponges.

Desired Experience:

• Proven experience or training in surgical technology within an OR setting.
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and surgical equipment handling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
