A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Operating Room Surgical Technician with a strong background in orthopedic total joint procedures. This contract position is based in Mentor, OH, and offers a consistent day shift schedule with 5 eight-hour shifts running from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 18 months recent Operating Room Surgical Technician (ORT CST) experience, with a minimum of 18 months permanent OR CST experience prior to travel assignments
• Proven expertise in total joint orthopedic procedures is essential
• Current certification in BLS through AHA or Red Cross, as well as NBSTSA CST certification
• Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months is required
• Ability to provide one recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty area; Charge RN references are accepted
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday scheduled
