An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Surgical Technologist with expertise in Operating Room Technology (ORT) to contribute to high-quality surgical patient care. This contract position requires a professional dedicated to supporting nursing staff and ensuring smooth surgical procedures by performing essential scrub duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nursing staff during the preparation and care of surgical patients.
- Perform scrub duties efficiently during elective, scheduled, and emergency surgical cases.
- Support preparation, transportation, and supervision of patients to and from the operating room.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical operating room protocols and patient care standards.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to promote patient safety and procedural success.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Proven experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) or as a Surgical Technologist.
- Ability to function well in fast-paced surgical environments and emergency situations.
- Understanding of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
