Advance your nursing practice as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) in a high-capacity environment dedicated to exceptional patient care. This role offers a contract opportunity, starting on either March 16, March 30, or April 13, with a 13-week assignment in Lynn, MA.

Schedule/Hours:

• 4x10 or 4x12 Day/Evening rotation
• Evening shifts:
  • 4x10: 1:00pm11:00pm
  • 4x12: 11:00am11:00pm
• Day shifts:
  • 4x10: 7:00am5:30pm (M, T, Th, F); 9:00am7:30pm (W)
  • 4x12: 7:00am7:30pm (M, T, Th, F); 9:00am9:30pm (W)
• Includes at least 2 weeks of night shifts per contract and at least 2 short calls per 4-week schedule.
• Weekend coverage required, with 12-hour shifts for weekends on the schedule.
• Schedules may be adjusted based on departmental needs, with days assigned when evenings are fully staffed.

Qualifications:

• Current nursing licensure (RN) and credentials in good standing.
• Proven experience working in a high-volume operating room.
• Strong adaptability for varied shifts, including evenings and nights.
• Competency in sterile technique, surgical instruments, and perioperative procedures.
• Superior communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Support surgical teams in delivering safe, efficient patient care.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain operating room supplies and equipment.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team before and during procedures.
• Adhere strictly to infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations or changes in procedure.
