Professionally, youll join a high-caliber surgical team that performs advanced procedures across vascular, neuro, thoracic, robotics, transplant, and more. This setting offers an exceptional opportunity for experienced OR professionals to further develop technical skills, adapt to varied leadership styles, and broaden their clinical perspectives, setting your career apart with diverse, hands-on experience.
Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation: 3 days (0630-1900) or 4 days (0630-1700), or 3 days (1030-2300)
- Weekend rotation as needed
- On-call required; 40-minute response time
- Holiday shifts per unit needs
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience; first-time travelers not accepted
- RN: BLS required; circulating, Foley catheter, chest tube, and AED experience
- OR Tech: BLS, CST required; proficiency in scrub duties for listed surgeries
- Experience with Cerner EMR, Omnicell, and DaVinci robotics (preferred, not mandatory)
- Strong collaborative skills1 RN and 1 Tech per case; onsite management support
Duties:
- Circulate and/or scrub for a broad range of surgical cases
- Float as necessary to provide lunch relief within the OR
- Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
- Manage advanced OR equipment: Bovie, tourniquet, harmonic, OR bed, robotics
