This travel assignment promises professional growth through daily collaboration with adept leaders, exposure to a wide spectrum of surgical specialties, and the chance to expand your clinical expertise in a technologically advanced environment. Youll be immersed in best practices while working with cutting-edge equipmentincluding Da Vinci robotics and advanced EMR systemsand supported by a cohesive perioperative team.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3 days (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM)
- 4 days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- 3 days (10:30 AM - 11:00 PM)
- Weekend and holiday rotations based on unit needs
- On-call is required with a 40-minute response time
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of recent OR nursing or tech experience required
- National BLS certification required; CST required for techs
- Experienced travelers only (not accepting first-time travelers)
- Proficiency in circulating and/or scrub roles including expertise with Foley catheters, chest tube management, and AEDs
- Willingness to float to provide relief as needed within the OR
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide safe and effective perioperative care in high-acuity surgical environments
- Collaborate with an expert team including 1 RN and 1 Tech per case
- Operate and troubleshoot advanced technical equipment
- Participate in ongoing facility and unit-based orientation
