Schedule:
- Full-time travel contract
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR Tech experience
- Current BLS certification
- Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) credential
- Strong knowledge of operating room procedures, particularly in cardiovascular cases
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative perioperative settings
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms for cardiovascular surgical procedures by ensuring all required instruments and equipment are sterile and ready
- Assist surgical teams during complex cardiovascular operations
- Maintain a rigorous sterile field, handle instruments, and provide direct support to surgeons
- Anticipate needs of the surgical team and respond promptly for optimized patient outcomes
- Accurately complete documentation of procedures and inventory usage
