As a surgical technologist in one of the regions premier operating departments, youll work in a modern facility equipped with new technology across 23 operating rooms. Our interdisciplinary team boasts experienced colleagues and fosters a teamwork-driven environment with no trauma casesfocusing instead on diverse elective surgical specialties from ortho/spine to plastics, GYN, robotics, CV, urology, and general surgery. This is an ideal setting to deepen your technical skills, learn new workplace practices, and collaborate closely with leaders and peers committed to excellence in patient care.
Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 5:00 PM shifts
- Call required; must be within a 30-minute response window
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital surgical tech experience
- NBSTA and DORA certifications required
- Experience in ortho/spine and cardiovascular procedures highly desirable
- Adaptable, team-oriented, and patient-focused mindset
Primary Responsibilities:
- Circulate and support elective surgical procedures in a state-of-the-art operative suite
- Work directly with a dynamic healthcare team (1:1 patient ratios)
- Adhere to evidence-based best practices and the latest technologies (EMR: Meditech/CPN)
- Maintain a calm, focused approach in a high-paced, collegial setting
