Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
• Includes night and weekend call

Key Qualifications:

• Active DORA (Division of Professions and Occupations) certification
• Current NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) certification
• Demonstrated experience in operating room settings, particularly in transplant or spine surgery
• Proven ability to maintain a sterile field and support a multidisciplinary surgical team
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and procedures

Role Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for both routine and specialized surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and registered nurses during procedures, especially complex transplant or spine operations
• Ensure proper sterilization of equipment and adherence to infection control protocols
• Accommodate urgent cases by being responsive to night and weekend call requirements
• Keep accurate records of instruments, supplies, and patient care activities during surgical procedures
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care
