Take your expertise in surgical nursing to the next level with an exciting contract opportunity in a high-acuity perioperative environment. This position focuses on providing specialized care in a Level 1 Trauma setting, allowing you to apply your skills in a fast-paced and rewarding atmosphere.

Key Schedule Details:

• Shift: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM
• Includes call, weekends, and holidays as part of the rotation
• Block scheduling is not available

Required Qualifications:

• Current Nursing ORT certification or related credentials
• Demonstrated travel experience in comparable assignments
• Strong background and high skill rating in Level 1 Trauma environments
• Previous exposure to burn cases is preferred
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, critical situations and adjust to varying case load demands
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a trauma center
• Maintain surgical field sterility and anticipate surgical team needs
• Support the surgical team during procedures, ensuring all instruments and equipment are readily available
• Respond promptly to emergent trauma situations with sound clinical judgement
• Accurately document patient care and procedural details according to facility protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
