Schedule/Hours:

• Days, 4x10-hour shifts (06:30-17:00)
• No standard weekend shifts
• On-call required 3-4 times every 8 weeks, which may include weekend coverage

Role Highlights:

• Work across various surgical specialties including ENT, Neuro, and General Surgical Oncology, in a high-acuity Level I trauma environment.
• Broaden your skillset floating between all ORs alongside accomplished medical teams.
• Participate in orientation in-person on Mondays and Tuesdays to ensure a seamless transition.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in ENT, Neuro, and Surgical Oncology (general surgery) is required.
• Level I trauma experience is a must.
• At least 1.5 to 2 years of travel experience is preferred, as well as strong Ortho and Transplant experience.
• NBSTSA certification preferred; alternatively, candidates with at least 3 years of operating room tech experience (noncertified) will be considered.
• AHA BLS certification is mandatory.
• New graduates are not being considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during highly specialized and emergent procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure setup and operation of surgical equipment.
• Float and adapt smoothly to multiple operating rooms as needed.
• Assume on-call duties as required for critical coverage.
