As a travel surgical technologist specializing in ORT nursing, youll immerse yourself in a dynamic orthopedic and robotic operating room environment. Schedule/Hours:
- 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
- Variable start times between 6:00 am and 8:00 am
- On-call one day each week
- On-call every 4th weekend
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Surgical Technologist or Registered Nurse (Nursing - ORT)
- Experience with orthopedic and robotic procedures highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to function in high-pressure environments
- BLS certification required
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare OR for orthopedic and robotic surgeries
- Assist surgeons and RNs in maintaining sterile fields and managing surgical equipment
- Monitor patient safety throughout procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly as needed
- Maintain accurate patient and procedure documentation
