Qualifications & Experience:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with strong orthopedic background
- Recent experience as a Nursing ORT in a hospital surgical setting
- Sound knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and perioperative best practices
- Ability to adapt quickly, multitask, and communicate effectively within a team
- Current BLS certification
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure the sterility of the environment
- Assist surgeons and RNs during orthopedic and general surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory of surgical instruments and supplies
- Respond swiftly to changing needs, particularly during on-call hours
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional patient care
