Schedule/Hours:
- Travel contract role; schedule will be discussed during the interview process to best fit your skills and facility needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for surgery, offering thorough pre-procedure education and support
- Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff
- Maintain sterile environments and accurate documentation
- Post-operative monitoring and communication of potential outcomes to patients and families
Qualifications:
- Current nursing license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room Nursing (ORT) experience preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
