As an Operating Room Technician (ORT) with orthopedic experienceparticularly in total joint replacementthis role provides a unique platform to enhance your clinical expertise and learn new technical approaches. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Certified Surgical Technician or equivalent training
- Proven orthopedic operating room experience; total joint replacement proficiency highly desired
- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and OR protocols
- Effective communicator and collaborator with multidisciplinary staff
- Willingness and ability to participate in call rotation as required
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments with meticulous attention to sterile procedures
- Assist the surgical team throughout orthopedic procedures, especially total joint replacements
- Support circulating nurses and surgeons in maintaining safety and workflow
- Participate in the call schedule, responding to urgent procedural needs
- Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, and a high standard of clinical care
