Job Description

An opportunity for a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) specializing in Neuro surgery is available at a respected medical center in Lakeville, MN. This contract position offers the chance to engage in a dynamic operating room environment with a focus on neurological procedures, including Neuro call responsibilities.

Schedule:

  • 10-hour shifts, day or evening
  • Start times vary between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support surgical teams during Neuro, orthopedic, vascular, and cardiovascular procedures
  • Prepare and maintain sterile environments for surgeries, including total joint replacements and ortho trauma cases
  • Operate and manage da Vinci surgical systems as needed
  • Float within the operating room to provide versatile surgical assistance across specialties

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a surgical technologist role, with a focus on Neuro surgery
  • Proficient in Neuro procedures and familiar with Epic electronic health records system
  • Experience with orthopedic total joint support, ortho trauma, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular surgeries preferred
  • Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification at the time of application
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as required
  • Candidates must not be new graduates
