Key Qualifications:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Previous experience in an operating room setting, providing perioperative support
- Skilled in sterile technique, instrumentation, and equipment setup
- Ability to anticipate the surgical team's needs during procedures
- Strong understanding of infection control and safety protocols
- Reliable, detail-oriented, with a sense of urgency and adaptability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Current BLS certification preferred
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Scrub in and assist surgeons and nurses during various surgical procedures
- Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures; anticipate surgeons needs
- Ensure instruments, sponges, and sharps are accurately counted and tracked
- Manage specimens and secure medications according to facility guidelines
- Assist in room turnover and restocking, supporting efficient case progression
- Collaborate with registered nurses and other perioperative team members to provide optimal patient care
- Adhere to facility policies, regulatory standards, and best practices

$1,369 - $1,498/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
