Step into an essential role supporting a high-performing surgical team as a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 16-week contract assignment. Apply your specialized skills in perioperative care and operating room procedures while working alongside dedicated professionals and supporting a variety of general surgical cases. This position offers a rotating shift with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts
• 40 hours per week, guaranteed

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology or Operating Room Technician training program
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA). If not certified, must provide documentation of program completion.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum two (2) years of consecutive, full-time experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated experience supporting general surgery procedures
• All licenses and certifications must be active and valid from application through end of contract

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist the surgical team with procedures by preparing the operating room and necessary instruments
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and anticipate the needs of surgeons during operations
• Safely handle surgical equipment, supplies, and specimens
• Maintain excellent communication with nurses and surgical staff to ensure patient safety
• Float to additional perioperative or support areas as requested, within your skillset, based on facility needs

Additional Details:

• Contract candidates must complete compliance prior to the contract start (no later than 10 days before)
• Requested Time Off during the contract may be approved for up to 7 days, limited to Wednesday through Wednesday
• The facility may require staff to float based on operational requirements

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
