Schedule & Hours:
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- On Call: 1 day each week and one weekend every 5 weeks
- Weekend Rotation: Every fifth weekend
- Holidays: As determined by department needs
Qualifications:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) strongly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced surgical environment
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain the sterile surgical environment
- Assist surgical teams by providing instruments and supplies during procedures
- Ensure accurate preparation, handling, and maintenance of surgical equipment
- Uphold strict compliance with infection control policies and safety standards
- Respond to emergent situations and adapt swiftly as needed
