Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of recent experience as a surgical technologist, with specific CVOR background.
• Active certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Proficiency in supporting a multidisciplinary surgical team and maintaining sterile technique throughout complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Collaborative mindset and clear communication skills.

Typical Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and perioperative staff with cardiovascular and thoracic cases in the operating room.
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment prior to procedures.
• Support effective turnover of rooms between cases while ensuring compliance with strict infection-control standards.
• Anticipate the needs of surgical teams and contribute to seamless, safe patient experiences.
