Step into a dynamic surgical setting and provide essential support for operating room procedures. This role requires a Certified Surgical Technologist or a nursing professional with experience in the operating room, delivering quality patient care alongside skilled clinical teams.

Schedule options include:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (days)
• Five 8-hour shifts per week (days)

Key qualifications:

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist or licensed nursing professional with ORT experience
• Completion of an accredited surgical technology or nursing program
• Current BLS certification
• Proven ability to collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare staff in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with aseptic technique, instrument handling, room setup, and surgical safety standards
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Primary responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are available and sterile
• Assist in positioning and preparing patients for surgery
• Maintain the sterile field and anticipate surgeons needs throughout procedures
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision and efficiency
• Participate in room turnover and postoperative cleanup, adhering to infection control protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members to enhance patient safety and surgical outcomes

Pay for this role is $78 per hour, reflecting the significant expertise and dedication required.
