Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Current certification or licensure as a Nursing - Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Recent experience working in an operating room setting, preferably pediatric
- Strong understanding of sterilization, instrumentation, and OR safety protocols
- Ability to adapt to new policies and quickly integrate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain operating rooms before, during, and after surgical procedures
- Assist surgical teams with setup, instrumentation, and patient positioning
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Maintain meticulous records and support supply management
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes
