Key Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN licensure (or compact license) to practice nursing.
• Proven experience as an Operating Room Technician (ORT) or in perioperative nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications, with additional credentials preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of pre-op, intra-op, and post-op procedures.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures.
• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgeries, including instrument setup, equipment checks, and sterile field maintenance.
• Monitor patient vitals and maintain thorough, accurate documentation throughout the procedure.
• Adhere to all infection control policies and facility protocols.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and support throughout the surgical process.
