Bring your expertise in perioperative care to a dynamic surgical environment focused on patient-centered outcomes. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Operating Room Technologist (ORT) ready to provide high-quality support in the operating room and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract schedule with flexibility to cover day, evening, or rotating shifts, depending on operational needs

Qualifications:

• Current certification as an Operating Room Technologist (ORT) or Surgical Technologist
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional perioperative credentials preferred
• Recent experience working in an operating room setting
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, safe handling of surgical instruments, and OR protocols
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment according to scheduled procedures
• Monitor and maintain aseptic technique, ensuring patient safety and proper infection control measures throughout surgical procedures
• Anticipate the needs of surgeons and support staff, passing instruments and assisting with retraction, suction, or other tasks as directed
• Manage equipment inventory and facilitate timely room turnovers between procedures
• Practice effective communication within the OR team and contribute to a positive, patient-focused environment
