Job Description

An experienced Surgical Technologist with strong vascular skills is needed for an 8-day travel assignment at a vascular clinic in Elmhurst, IL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a CST or Surgical Tech, with demonstrated expertise in vascular procedures such as EVLT, RFA, Venous Seal, and vascular ultrasounds. This opportunity does not require NBSTSA certification but does require a current BLS certification.

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Surgical Tech
  • Strong vascular experience including EVLT, RFA, Venous Seal, and vascular ultrasounds
  • NBSTSA certification is preferred but not mandatory
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Ability to start within 2 weeks of credentialing
  • Must submit drug screen, CBC, and TB test (Tspot or QuantiFERON gold) within 90 days of start date

Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient care excellence

Schedule / Hours:

  • 8-day travel assignment
  • No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
