Schedule/Hours:

  • 16-week assignment
  • 10-hour day shifts (6:45a-5:15p), 40 hours/week
  • Rotating on-call: evenings, overnight, weekends (call only)
  • Holiday coverage as needed
  • Floating between units is unlikely

Required Skills & Experience:

  • National certification as a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) or Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of recent scrub experience in orthopedics and neurosurgery
  • Preference for candidates with 4+ years of experience
  • Proficiency with Epic (EMR)
  • New graduates are not eligible
  • Must submit a current resume, two recent professional references, skills checklist, and copies of certifications

Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and OR staff with prepping, procedures, and sterile protocols
  • Scrub for orthopedic and neurosurgical procedures
  • Rotate for on-call coverage as assigned
  • Ensure accurate documentation within Epic system
  • Collaborate seamlessly with interdisciplinary team members

$1,694 - $1,792/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
