Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignmentfull-time, variable hours, flexibility required
Qualifications:
Current nursing credentials with Operating Room Technician (ORT) experience
Valid state license or eligibility to obtain required licensure in Illinois
Proven record in surgical support within high-volume hospital settings
Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability within multidisciplinary teams
BLS/CPR certification (additional certifications a plus)
Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterile and functioning
Assist surgeons and nurses with instrumentation and supply management during procedures
Monitor patient safety and respond promptly to dynamic OR environments
Document and communicate critical information to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
Maintain compliance with facility standards, infection control, and regulatory policies
