Schedule/Hours
- Full-time travel assignment
- Flexible scheduling (determined by facility needs)
Key Qualifications
- Active Nursing License (State of Illinois or Compact)
- Certified and experienced as an Operating Room Technician (ORT)
- Previous experience in a hospital-based surgical setting strongly preferred
- BLS certification required; additional certifications (CST, ACLS) considered a plus
- Excellent patient care, communication, and teamwork skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain operating rooms for surgical procedures
- Assist surgeons and nurses during operations, ensuring all equipment is sterile and operational
- Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical instruments and supplies
- Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
- Document patient information and surgical activities accurately
