Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time travel position
  • Flexible scheduling

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a sterile surgical field and provide necessary instrumentation to the surgical team
  • Apply expertise in aseptic technique, human anatomy, and surgical procedures
  • Verify packaging, sterility, and expiration dates for all instruments and supplies
  • Ensure a safe operating room environment with functional equipment
  • Monitor the sterile field and promptly report or correct contamination issues
  • Support Tier 1 surgical case management
  • Assist with patient transports, room turnovers, and preparations
  • Stay current with new technologies, instrumentation, and best practices
  • Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization
  • Participate in Time Out Procedures, briefings, and debriefings

Qualifications:

  • Certified Surgical Technologist program completion and/or Colorado state Surgical Technologist license required
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in English
  • Experience with all age groups, from neonatal to geriatric patients
