This travel opportunity is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist with strong vascular experience to support specialized procedures at a busy vascular clinic near Des Plaines, IL. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as a CST or Surgical Tech with proven expertise in endovenous laser therapy (EVLT), radiofrequency ablation (RFA), venous sealing, and vascular ultrasounds.

Nestled close to Des Plaines, IL, this position is based at a vascular clinic known for advanced outpatient procedures and patient-centered care. Elmhurst offers a charming suburban setting with easy access to Chicago, providing a balance of city amenities and quiet neighborhood living.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist during vascular surgical procedures including EVLT, RFA, venous sealing, and performing vascular ultrasounds
• Ensure compliance with sterile techniques and safety protocols in the surgical environment
• Instrument setup, equipment maintenance, and assisting the surgical team throughout procedures
• Support a smooth workflow within an 8-day schedule rotation with call coverage as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years as a Certified Surgical Technologist or equivalent experience (NBSTSA certification is preferred but not required)
• Strong vascular procedure skills including endovascular therapies and diagnostic ultrasounds
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Schedule:

• 8 days with call, no weekends or holidays required

Additional Details:

• Orientation provided once credentialed
• Credential documents due one week prior to start (including DS, CBC, T-spot/QuantiFERON gold within 90 days)
• New graduates will not be considered for this role
